I provide expert guidance, support and training to schools facing significant behavioral challenges in their student population. I specialize in understanding the unique needs of students and developing customized intervention plans. Training, modeling, and collaboration with staff is also provided to promote positive changes in students' behaviors. Consultation services are designed to offer practical strategies and solutions using evidence based practices. 

The goal of this consult is to create a supportive, inclusive, and  understanding school environment that allows the student with autism to thrive academically and socially. I collaborate with all stakeholders, including educators, support  staff, specialists, parents, and the student, which is crucial for success. This consult includes  a review of records, interviews with team members, classroom observations, and a written  report of findings and recommendations. Real-time coaching for staff can also be  requested. 

An FBA is a specialized process used to understand  and address challenging behaviors exhibited by students. I complete the assessments  through the lens of an educator, looking at all aspects of the classroom dynamics. The  primary purpose of an FBA is to identify the underlying causes of these unexpected  behaviors and develop strategies to teach students the necessary skills to replace the  unexpected behaviors with socially appropriate behaviors. This assessment includes  interviews with team members, review of records, classroom observation, analysis of  behavioral data, and a written summary of findings and recommendations. 

I collaborate with student teams to create and implement personalized educational plans tailored to meet the specific needs, strengths, and goals of  students with complex learning profiles. I design a unique learning experience that caters to the individual student's abilities, learning styles, and goals. This consult includes personalized learning plans, develop learning activities align with the students goals and  classroom objectives, provide real-time coaching to staff. 

I provide personalized educational  services for students with diverse learning needs, such as developmental delays, behavioral challenges, or other exceptionalities including autism spectrum disorder and multiple  disabilities. I offer individualized instruction, employing various teaching methods and  strategies that cater to the specific requirements of each student. Implement various  teaching methods and strategies, create and implement adaptive learning materials,  incorporate opportunities to increase students’ independence and communication skills. I provide a patient and supportive environment, understanding the student's challenges and  working through them at their pace. Regularly assess the student's progress, adapt teaching  methods as necessary, and provide comprehensive reports on achievements and challenges.

I provide support and guidance to new educators in their  transition from teacher preparation programs or other school positions to a special  education position. I provide mentorship, guidance, and resources to help new teachers  develop effective teaching strategies, navigate challenges, and grow professionally. This  consult includes classroom observations, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to  enhance teaching methodologies, lesson planning, and classroom management. Assist in acquiring and sharing relevant resources, curriculum materials, and teaching aids to assist in  lesson planning and execution. and support new teachers to build confidence in their  abilities by acknowledging their strengths and offering constructive encouragement. Foster effective communication between new teachers, experienced educators, and school  administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
